All kinds of projects, made by scratch

During classes, we have made all kinds of projects with scratch. Because the use of scratch is so wide, it is easy to make totally different creative projects. You can make stories, you can make drawings, you can even create you're own quiz or game. 

I thought it would be nice if I showed you the things we made. Down below I took some screenshots of different projects, always written with a little explanation. 

Abby, the bat and the shark

This was our very first project we made, using scratch. It is about a girl who is walking in a forest and she is happy and having fun. At a certain point, she sees that there is a bat flying around in circles.
She is so scared that she runs for her life. After running, she finally arrives at the beach.
While she is walking towards the water, she discovers that there is a shark nearby the coastline.
Scared as she is, she runs back to the beach and wants to go home. On the next dia, you can see that she's at home, safe and sound. 


This is a short example of making a story on your own. It was so nice and fun to do and I can not wait to use it with my children!

Move with keys 

The next project I want to show you is a game.  I created a game in which you have to try to move the cat in the right direction without touching the lines. You can win points by getting the treats in every level. If you get the treat, you go to the next level. 

At the beginning of the game you recieve 3 lives. Each time you touch the lines, you loose 1 live.
To move the cat you have to use the arrows on your keyboard. Good luck!

Performing arts : Final reflection

It all started when I got the opportunity to go on Erasmus. In the beginning I was very enthousiastic about going to another country, learn how to live there and going to school.  After a while I started doubting about it. I don't know why but I suddenly felt fear of not being able to manage it on my own for so long. I also couldn't image myself, leaving everyone and everything behind. I gave up and let it go.  At the end of last year, I received a phone call from my teacher, who said that if I would change my mind of going on Erasmus, it still was possible to sign in. Than I started to think about it again and now we are here. :)  At the first day of school I was very nervous. I didn't know what to expect and how the other Erasmus people would be like, same for the teachers.
