All kinds of projects, made by scratch During classes, we have made all kinds of projects with scratch. Because the use of scratch is so wide, it is easy to make totally different creative projects. You can make stories, you can make drawings, you can even create you're own quiz or game.  I thought it would be nice if I showed you the things we made. Down below I took some screenshots of different projects, always written with a little explanation.  Abby, the bat and the shark This was our very first project we made, using scratch. It is about a girl who is walking in a forest and she is happy and having fun. At a certain point, she sees that there is a bat flying around in circles. She is so scared that she runs for her life. After running, she finally arrives at the beach. While she is walking towards the water, she discovers that there is a shark nearby the coastline. What is scratch?

What is scratch?  During the lessons we have done a lot of things on Scratch. Scratch is an object-orientated, visual programming language, developed by the MIT. The language, scratch is using, is perfect for children if they want to create animations, games, music, artsprojects, etc. It is not only used by children, parents, students, teachers and even scholars use it too. It provides a stepping stone to the more advanced world of computer programming. It is even possible to use it for educational and entertainment constructionist purposes from math. Scratch is especially designed for children from the age of 8 until 16 years old but it is used by people of all ages. Millions of people are creating scratch projects in a wide variety of settings, including homes, schools, museums, libraries and community centers.
